CHAMPAIGN-URBANA, Illinois—May 12, 2003—Fidelity Media, Inc. today released MegaSeg 2.6.2, an update to its live MP3 DJ and radio music scheduling and automation software, that adds new features and many improvements including direct access to sound output devices on Mac OS X, as well as new Library Text Cleaner functions. Also new to this version are performance improvements, support for ID3 Comment tags, a new Auto-Save Library preference, and other bug fixes.
This new version retains its ability to create automatic music schedules and timed playlist events, giving users the ability to create custom music and video automation solutions. In addition, MegaSeg can generate charts for users to visually determine the rotation and play counts for any track. This helps ensure that play rotations are even and varied hour by hour.
MegaSeg unique mixing method is streamlined to eliminate screen clutter, and designed with a different approach to live DJ and radio music mixing. MegaSeg does not attempt to mimic the look of a “real world” DJ device on screen.
