In this latest update, the user’s guide has undergone a sleek makeover, featuring a built-in viewer with Dark Mode and simplified navigation. The database has been significantly optimized for larger libraries, increasing the speed of searches, sorting, and category selections. MIDI control options now include presets for the RØDECaster Pro II and Pioneer DDJ-1000SRT. In the Events tab, sorting by time is refined, and adds SFTP protocol support for Insert URL actions. The preview player ensures continuous playback while shifting to edit mode. Importing has received a boost with improved FLAC metadata support and optimized speed. Accessibility has been enhanced with the ‘Announce Selection’ command supporting the category and playlist browsers. Managing your longer playlist queues is a breeze with faster track selection and smoother drag-and-drop.
Over 50 fixes have been implemented in MegaSeg 6.3.1, addressing important matters across various features. Noteworthy items include resolving issues with the Events list, ensuring accurate timing and functionality, better file tracking for changes in storage environments, and refining search functions for more accurate results. Additionally, metadata handling is improved for various file types, ensuring proper operation across network and external volumes, among other fixes for importing, playback, the Scheduler, Rules, and Logging, improving the overall user experience.

MegaSeg is available in two editions: DJ and Pro. The DJ edition focuses on core live mixing via visual beat syncing with multitouch gestures, multiple outputs for headphone preview, MIDI control, automatic volume, advanced categorization, track logging, and integration with Music.app and iTunes playlists.
